MoSync AB

MoSync was founded in late 2004 by an international team of mobile entrepreneurs that are passionate about simplifying development of mobile applications and services. The company is located in Stockholm, Sweden and has representation in Singapore.

The vision for MoSync is to make it easy, fast and cost efficient to develop and distribute mobile applications over a broad range of devices, platforms and distribution channels. MoSync make powerful cross-platform tools for mobile development. MoSync SDK brings mobile cross-platform development to the regular desktop developer. It addresses the problem of device fragmentation, cross OS development, differences between operators' offerings, and the complex nature of mobile development.

Owera AS

Owera provides generic provisioning system for multiprotocol IP services and market-ready product designs for SIP based CPEs, including a SIP Software Development Kit. Owera is a Norwegian company with headquarters and operation in Oslo, Norway. Owera Inc, the US subsidiary is in Cambridge Massachusetts. Owera’s xAPS is a high performance ACS (Automatic Configuration System) that automates deployment and operation of IP equipment in services.

Owera was established in the year 2000. The company was known as SX Design, a company that focused on developing SIP based hardware and firmware for CPEs developed on the SX chipset series from the chip vendor Ubicom. In the year 2003, Owera changed focus and became a software development house for SIP based CPEs. Owera has developed a SIP Software Development Kit which has been sold to numerous manufacturers around the world (Australia, Taiwan, China, Greese, Germany, Holland, Norway, UK, US and Canada).In 2003, Owera began developing a Remote Management and Service Activation system (provisioning) that not only would minimize the need for support, but which also would simplify the logistics and extend the Service Providers ability to monitor CPEs and be able to do proactive trouble shooting.

Samsung Electronics Research Institute UK

Samsung Electronics Research Institute (SERI) is a European centre of excellence for R&D and software engineering in the field of Telecoms and Audio Visual. As part of Samsung's global R&D network, SERI is tasked with hiring topnotch talent studying the latest mobile handset and digital TV trends, and applying those technologies that offer the greatest benefits. SERI is creating innovative technologies that can solidify Samsung's position as a global leader. The site was established in 1996 and is based in Middlesex, UK (just West of London). The company operates as a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd.

Symbian Research (now Nokia)

Symbian Research was the research department of Symbian Software Ltd. Symbian Limited, was a software licensing company, that created and licensed Symbian OS, an open operating system for mobile phones. Symbian served handset manufacturers, handset vendors, and network operators. The company was founded in 1998 as an off-shoot of Psion and Psion Software and was headquartered in London, the United Kingdom with additional offices in Cambridge, China, India, Japan, Korea, and the United States. As of April 8, 2009, Symbian Limited operates as a subsidiary of Nokia Corporation .
